چکیده

As an extension of the weak perturbation theory obtained in recent analysis on infinite-derivative non-local non-Abelian gauge theories motivated from p-adic string field theory, and postulated as direction UV-completion 4-D Quantum Field Theory (QFT), here we investigate confinement conditions $\beta-$function strong coupling regime. We extend criterion, previously by Kugo Ojima for local based Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) invariance, to using a set exact solutions corresponding theory. show that infinite-derivatives which are active UV provides finite contributions also infrared (IR) limit provide proof confinement, granted absence Landau pole. The main difference with case is IR fixed point moved infinity. energy scale non-locality $M \rightarrow \infty$ reproduce results see how asymptotic freedom properly recovered.

0 String Nature of Confinement in ( Non - ) Abelian Gauge Theories ∗

Recent progress achieved in the solution of the problem of confinement in various (non-)Abelian gauge theories by virtue of a derivation of their string representation is reviewed. The theories under study include QCD within the so-called Method of Field Correlators, QCD-inspired Abelian-projected theories, and compact QED in three and four space-time dimensions. Various nonperturbative propert...

Renormalization group equations for effective field theories

We derive the renormalization group equations for a generic nonrenormalizable theory. We show that the equations allow one to derive the structure of the leading divergences at any loop order in terms of one-loop diagrams only. In chiral perturbation theory, e.g., this means that one can obtain the series of leading chiral logs by calculating only one loop diagrams. We discuss also the renormal...

Coulomb - gauge in QCD : renormalization and confinement ∗

We review the Coulomb gauge in QCD and report some recent results. The minimal Coulomb gauge is defined and the fundamental modular region, a region without Gribov copies, is described. The Coulomb gauge action is expressed in terms of the dynamical degrees of freedom with an instantaneous Coulomb interaction, and its physical meaning is discussed. The local Coulomb gauge action with phase-spac...

Confinement in nonlocal interaction equations

We investigate some dynamical properties of nonlocal interaction equations. We consider sets of particles interacting pairwise via a potential W , as well as continuum descriptions of such systems. The typical potentials we consider are repulsive at short distances, but attractive at long distances. The main question we consider is whether an initially localized configuration remains localized ...

Renormalization Group Invariance of Exact Results in Supersymmetric Gauge Theories

We clarify the notion of Wilsonian renormalization group (RG) invariance in supersymmetric gauge theories, which states that the low-energy physics can be kept fixed when one changes the ultraviolet cutoff, provided appropriate changes are made to the bare coupling constants in the Lagrangian. We first pose a puzzle on how a quantum modified constraint (such as Pf(QiQj) = Λ2(N+1) in SP(N) theor...
